In short, Authoropolis is the online home for indie authors to learn and level up together. It’s not focused on a specific topic of indie publishing or a specific genre.
Instead, Authoropolis believes that AUTHORS are the heroes of publishing and we're on a mission to bring POWER TO STORYTELLERS.

I won’t lie… this is early days for Authoropolis. It’s going to take months to start to really see it take shape and years to truly see Authoropolis come to life.
Rome wasn’t built overnight… and neither is Authoropolis.
But that still doesn’t answer the most important question. Why when there are literally thousands of groups for indie authors, should you join this one?
The Mission of Authoropolis
Authoropolis brings all indie authors together in a central place so we can offer better insights and help more authors in their journey. Our ambition is to be the largest and most active community for indie authors in the world (this will take us years, but you can help us get there together).
In short, there is power to numbers. As a collective of storytellers, we are way more powerful than separated.
That's why in Authoropolis: Together we are boundless.
We may be at different stages in our careers, facing different issues, and write very different stories... but we are all bound together by our love for storytelling and our willingness to put our Readers First.
And that's why just as everyone here are heroes... we all get to be each other's sidekicks.
The Authoropolis Charter:
We have 5 ideals that shape everything we do in Authoropolis. I will do everything I can to embody these ideals myself and celebrate those who share them.
You are a hero. Publishers & platforms like us to believe that they have power over us. But publishing would be nothing without us authors. You are capable of so much more than you can even imagine. As an author, you are a superhero!
Giving is true having. Communities are always about giving first and giving always. By sharing our knowledge and lending a hand to other authors, we also get to level up in our own careers. Of course, don't be shy to ask for help. It's likely other people have the same questions and problems as you, therefore asking for help is also GIVING help to others. It's magical!
Readers First. Stepping into the minds and hearts of readers and serving them first is the key to this community. Whether it's our marketing, our storytelling, or our business strategy, we always want to think first: how can we help our readers? Not... how can we make money from them? Success will come to those who put their readers first!
Go beyond the book. Write, publish, write some more... and run some ads and make money. It's a tried and true model for success as an indie author. In this group, we go beyond the "book" of established pathways for indie authors to help you succeed in non-traditional ways. We are rewriting the rules of publishing to a world that puts Readers First and makes you the hero. Are you in?
Together we are boundless. When we help other authors we all benefit. The first billionaire author? I hope it's one of us in this group! As one of us hits new heights, the possibilities for everyone increases.
As many of you who have followed my journey in indie publishing for some time, you know how much I love community building.
It’s going to be so much fun to build Authoropolis together over the coming years and months.
